Kate Lindseth, the founder of Lindseth Education Consulting LLC (LEC), earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College and her Certificate in College Counseling with Distinction from UCLA. She is a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), a member of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), a member of the New Jersey Association for College Counseling (NJACAC) and a member of the National Association for College Admissions Counselors (NACAC). She attended the 2013 IECA Summer Training Institute (STI) and the 2014 Harvard Summer Institute on College Admissions.
Kate is a dedicated advisor who delivers hands-on knowledge of the independent school and college process. Regularly visiting school and college campuses and meeting admissions officers, she provides help and guidance on every phase of the independent school and college admissions process. Deciphering the ever-changing requirements, academic programs, opportunities, and campus cultures, she provides insight and advice for the best fit schools and colleges. Most of all, Kate loves to help students identify their strengths, passions, and goals.
Kate has always been involved in education serving as a Trustee of Stuart Country Day School, Parents Fund Co-Head at The Lawrenceville School for seven years, Bi-Centennial Committee member, Board President of a local nursery school and any number of Education Committees. She is a member of the Ransom-Everglades School NYC Regional Alumni Board and works with the Trenton Children’s Chorus assisting seniors with their applications to college.
A former Vice President at Rothschild Inc. in New York, Kate brings a wealth of professional experience to her students and families. For more than a decade, she worked on Wall Street and was a member of the Investment Association and various other professional organizations. She is married and the last of her three children graduated from college last year.
